At Sanford Breast Health Institute (BHI), the New Year marks 20 years of breast health service to the area. Over the past two decades, BHI has grown from a screening center to a full team of breast health professionals who diagnose and treat breast cancer.

Over the past 20 years, BHI’s programming has grown to include genetic counselors, digital mammography, MRI, a high risk breast surveillance clinic and Breast Care Coordinators who walk with women throughout their breast cancer journey.
Sanford Breast Health Institute’s team approach to patient care brings together all of Sanford’s specialists focused on breast health. Together, they review patient cases and customize individual cancer treatment plans for their patients.
