Re/Max donates $31,500 to Sanford Children’s

FARGO, N.D. — Re/Max Legacy Realty and Designer Homes presented a check for $31,500 to Children’s Miracle Network at Sanford Children’s to help support specialized medical equipment, unique programs, research and education at the hospital, all of which helps local sick and injured children.

The donations were raised at the organization’s Third Annual Children’s Miracle Network Golf Tournament that was held in July. In the past three years, over $80,000 has been raised by this golf tournament.

Sanford Children’s staff from the pediatric intensive care unit, general pediatrics, neonatal intensive care unit and child life staff accepted the check from the Re/Max Legacy Realty and Designer team. Joining the group to help accept the donation was 9-year-old Sanford Children’s patient Ian Vesey of Fairfield, North Dakota.

“We’re very grateful for the partnership with Re/Max Legacy Realty and Designer Homes,” said Sanford Health Foundation’s Children’s Miracle Network Manager Hillery Mork. “They do such a great job with this tournament, and it continues to grow year after year thanks to their hard work and dedication to helping local kids right here at Sanford Children’s.”

Re/Max Legacy Realty and Designer Homes aims to continue growing its golf tournament to raise even more dollars to benefit Children’s Miracle Network at Sanford Children’s Hospital. The organization said they would like to see an even bigger year next year to put their total donations well over $100,000.

Now in August, Re/Max is celebrating the “Month of Miracles” with additional fundraisers as an opportunity to share the work Re/Max agents and offices do to help kids live better lives.

More than 25 years ago, Re/Max began its partnership with Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, like Sanford Children’s Hospital in Fargo.
