How to help Sanford fight COVID-19 on Giving Tuesday Now

Giving Tuesday Now is a new global day of giving and unity taking place May 5 as an emergency response to the unprecedented need caused by COVID-19. The day is designed to drive an influx of generosity around the world.

The Sanford Health Foundation invites Sanford Health family, friends and supporters to unite in a movement of generosity to help care for local patients and communities. Here are a few ways to get involved on May 5:

  • Make a gift online to support urgent priorities: The Emerging Threats Fund helps ensure Sanford Health has the resources available to swiftly address health care threats such as the COVID-19 pandemic. The Enterprise Employee Crisis Fund provides financial assistance to Sanford and Good Samaritan Society employees who, at no fault of their own, are struggling to meet basic needs such as food, housing and child care at this time.
  • Donate supplies to help stop the spread of infection.
  • Follow the Sanford Health Foundation on social media for inspiring stories of giving. Join the conversation and share why you give, using the hashtag #TogetherWeRise.

“Every day, I continue to be touched by the selflessness of our Sanford family and Foundation supporters,” said Bobbie Tibbetts, president of the Sanford Health Foundation. “There are challenging days ahead, but the spirit of giving is shining a bright light of hope.”
