The Sanford POWER Basketball Academy has added the 2018 Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference player of the year, Tyler Rudolph, to the hardwood staff as a sports academy specialist. Rudolph will be based in Fargo.
Rudolph, a graduate of Bismarck Century High School, starred at Minot State University where he was also named a NCAA Division II All-American in 2018. Rudolph, who is Minot State’s all-time leading scorer (1,987 points) and rebounder (921 rebounds), was a three-time NSIC all-conference performer. Following his stellar collegiate career, he played professionally overseas in Spain.
“I’m excited to be a part of the Sanford team and the Sanford POWER Basketball Academy,” said Rudolph. “Basketball has always been a passion of mine, and I’m excited to share my knowledge of the game with the Fargo-Moorhead community.”
“We could not be more excited to add Tyler to our Sanford Sports family,” said Freddy Coleman, director of the Sanford POWER Basketball Academies in Fargo and Sioux Falls. “As a high school standout, collegiate All-American and professional player, Tyler knows the game at an extremely high level. His passion to work with young people and his ability to build relationships that go well beyond hoops makes him a perfect fit with our Sanford POWER Basketball Academy.”
