Good Samaritan – Ridge View Estates senior living administrator, Melissa McCorquodale, has been named the 2026 Provider Achieving Care Excellence (ACE) Leader of the Year by the National Center for Assisted Living (NCAL).
Through the annual Provider ACE Awards Program, the American Health Care Association and National Center for Assisted Living (AHCA/NCAL) recognize the outstanding contributions of leaders and frontline staff in the long-term and post-acute care profession from around the country. The awardees demonstrate a commitment to excellence, improving the lives of seniors and individuals with disabilities in their communities.
“Melissa is a champion for quality,” said Sharon Thole, Good Samaritan vice president of operations. “Her passion and dedication to caring for seniors has led her to a lifelong career in long term care. Melissa strives for excellence and she has a way of bringing others along that journey, ensuring our nation’s seniors – no matter where they live – receive high-quality care.”
An examiner for AHCA/NCAL’s Quality Awards program and a Future Leaders Program alumna, McCorquodale led her team at Ridge View Estates to an AHCA/NCAL Silver Quality Award in 2025. McCorquodale is involved at the state level with Care Providers of Minnesota and contributes to her local community through various committees. She was also named Minnesota’s Good Samaritan Regional Ever Forward Leader Champion in 2025.
“It is an honor to serve seniors in the communities where they grew up and raised their families and I am proud of the Ridge View Estates team members who feel called to care for others,” said McCorquodale. “I am humbled to receive this award and am grateful to the residents and families who entrust us to care for themselves and their loved ones.”
Provider ACE Award recipients will be honored during Delivering Solutions 26, the AHCA/NCAL Convention & Expo, held Oct. 11-14 in Boston.
