Calcavecchia and Harris commit to the Sanford International

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. — PGA TOUR Champions golfers Mark Calcavecchia and John Harris have officially committed to the Sanford International Presented by Cambria on September 16-22 at Minnehaha Country Club in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.

Calcavecchia, from Laurel, Nebraska, is a 13-time winner on the PGA TOUR and a four-time winner on the Champions Tour, including the 2018 Boca Raton Championship. Calcavecchia captured the 1989 Open Championship at Royal Troon defeating Greg Norman and Wayne Grady in a playoff. Calcavecchia shot an opening-round 69 at the Sanford International in 2018.

Minneapolis, Minnesota, native John Harris captured his first victory on the PGA TOUR Champions in 2006 at the Commerce Bank Championship. The University of Minnesota graduate was the second-leading scorer on the Gophers 1974 NCAA national hockey championship team, and then two months later won the individual Big Ten championship in golf.
