With the changes to Medicare Part D, a Medicare Advantage plan from Align powered by Sanford Health Plan may be the most affordable option for beneficiaries looking for prescription drug coverage.
The maximum out-of-pocket expense for prescription drugs is $2,000. However, with $0 copays and deductibles waived for certain commonly used prescriptions, it’s possible enrollees could spend much less than that out-of-pocket max on their prescriptions with Align powered by Sanford Health Plan.
Align powered by Sanford Health Plan offers an all-in-one bundled option for seniors, combining Medicare Part A and Medicare Part B coverage with additional, more robust benefits, including prescription drug coverage, preventive care, dental, hearing, vision and other services such as meals and fitness memberships.

Align powered by Sanford Health Plan will be available to Medicare beneficiaries to enroll for 2025 in the following counties during the Annual Enrollment Period, which runs from Oct. 15 to Dec. 7, 2024:

- South Dakota: Brookings, Clark, Clay, Day, Deuel, Douglas, Hanson, Hutchinson, Kingsbury, Lake, Lincoln, McCook, Marshall, Miner, Minnehaha, Moody, Roberts, Sanborn, Turner
