Thayne Munce appears on NPR-affiliate to discuss concussions
The fall sports season is now well underway, and concussions and CTE research continue to make headlines across the country.
Thayne Munce, Ph.D., exercise physiology manager at the Sanford Sports Science Institute, focuses on assessing head impact exposure and neurologic function of youth football players to better understand the risk of brain injury in this sport.
Munce was a guest on “All Sides with Ann Fisher,” a radio show based in Columbus, Ohio, that is an affiliate of NPR to talk about his research and the latest news on CTE.
