FARGO, N.D. – The Sanford Sports Academy is hosting the “Who’s Next” basketball combine for high school boys and girls athletes at the new Fargo Parks Sports Center at the Sanford Sports Complex in June, designed to highlight the region’s local talent in front of college coaches.
The girls combine, featuring grades 8-12, is June 13 from noon-4 p.m. The boys combine, featuring grades 9-12, is June 20 from noon-4 p.m.
“I’m excited to see these athletes on the court and show what they can do,” said Freddy Coleman, Sanford Sports Academy basketball manager. “Through performance measurements, individual development and live 5-on-5 action, we’re providing a forum to showcase a high level of basketball in front of a wide variety of college coaches.”
Coleman has been involved with the Sanford Sports Academy since 2019. A former player and assistant coach for North Dakota State University, Coleman was part of the first Bison team to reach the NCAA Division I Men’s Tournament in 2009.
