Sanford POWER opens new location in Bismarck, ND
BISMARCK, N.D., Oct. 30, 2017 – Sanford POWER held a ribbon cutting today to officially open its new 21,000-square-foot building in Bismarck. The new building located at 3451 N. 14th St., formerly occupied by Home Depot, is close to three times the size of the previous Sanford POWER building.
“This new building is incredible, said Mike Salwei, Sanford POWER manager in Bismarck. “We now have more than 10,000 square feet of turf, which gives athletes a much larger venue to improve their athletic performance. The turf alone is larger than our old facility.”
The turf allows POWER to expand the opportunities for more skill based academies such as the Ben Berg Baseball Academy, which was made possible by the generosity of Jim and Carrie Berg, as well as a new soccer academy, which will kick off next year thanks to a donation by Heather Jones of City Air Mechanical in Bismarck. In addition to the turf, the building also features a two-lane indoor track for enhanced speed training, state-of-the-art training modalities and on-site physical therapists. A Return to Performance program will also be added at the new location. This program is an innovative and injury-specific program for athletes recovering from an injury or surgery.

The POWER program give kids an outlet for healthy activity and instills a discipline that they will carry with them through their lives.”
