Sanford POWER Basketball Academy adds Dwight Walker to staff

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – The Sanford POWER Basketball Academy has added Dwight Walker to the staff as an academy specialist.

Walker, a graduate of Calla High School in Manteca, California, played collegiate football at Chabot College for two years. He has been coaching and training year-round in the AAU circuit since 2015 and is also the freshman girls head basketball coach at Jefferson High School.

“I’m beyond excited to join the Sanford POWER Basketball family,” said Walker. “Basketball has always been a huge passion of mine and has allowed me the opportunity to meet and develop countless meaningful relationships with athletes and families.”

“Coach Dwight brings a high level of basketball experience and energy to the Sanford POWER Basketball Academy,” said Nate Kaeding, lead academy specialist with the Sanford POWER Basketball Academy. “We look forward to having him join our staff and developing strong athletes within our program.”

The Sanford POWER Basketball Academy is a comprehensive player development program with a wide variety of basketball development options. From private workouts to team management and everything in between, the professional staff is knowledgeable, energetic and creates a positive environment for players of all ages and skill levels to develop, learn and enjoy the game of basketball.
