Sanford hosts sports physicals in Bismarck and Mandan

BISMARCK, N.D. – Sanford Bismarck is offering sports physical events for student-athletes to complete their sports physicals for the 2024-25 school season. Student-athletes are required to get an annual sports physical when participating in school-sanctioned sports and must have their physicals completed before the first day of practice for their sport.
- Community events in Bismarck will be held on July 31, August 7, and August 14 from 5:30-8 p.m. Appointments are encouraged.

- To schedule an appointment at Sanford North Mandan Clinic, call 701-667-5100.
- Sanford Sports, located at 3451 N. 14th St, Suite C, in Bismarck, will offer sports physicals from 7:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. for Bismarck schools on the following dates:
- July 22: Bismarck High School
- July 25: Century High School
- July 29: Legacy High School
- August 1: All schools
- Appointments are encouraged and can be made by calling 701-323-1125.
- Sanford Health will also offer sports physicals at the Brave Center, located at 901 Division St. NW in Mandan during the following dates and times:

- July 30, 10 a.m.-6 p.m.
- August 2, 8 a.m.-12 p.m.

Sports physicals cost $35, and payment is due upon arrival. Please bring your appropriate state sports physical form and accompanying forms that can be found on the Sanford website with the parent portion completed and signed.
If unable to attend a sports physical event near you, families may also request to schedule an appointment with their primary care provider for their athlete’s annual sports physical.
- A sports physical includes a physical exam with heart and lung checks, injury and concussion history review and a lifestyle and habit check-in. This low-cost visit is typically not covered by insurance.
- A child wellness exam is billed to your insurance and includes a comprehensive evaluation, immunizations, family history review and sports physical requirements.
Both traditional sports physicals and well-child exams are by appointment only.
