Sanford Health offers walk-in COVID-19 vaccinations

SIOUX FALLS, S.D., April 16, 2021 — Beginning April 16, Sanford Imagenetics in Sioux Falls is offering regularly scheduled walk-in hours for the public to receive a COVID-19 vaccination without an appointment.

The regularly scheduled walk-in hours for the COVID vaccine at Sanford Imagenetics are:

Sanford Imagenetics is located at 1321 W. 22nd St., in Sioux Falls.

Patients can continue to schedule an appointment for a guaranteed vaccine time through My Sanford Chart or by calling My Sanford Nurse at 1-800-445-5788.

The vaccine is available to any eligible person age 16 and older. Individuals do not have to be Sanford Health patients to receive the vaccine from Sanford.

Individuals can also receive their second dose of the Pfizer vaccine from Sanford during walk-in hours at Imagenetics, even if they received the first dose elsewhere, as long as they bring documentation of their first dose.

One adult visitor may accompany a patient who needs assistance. Face masks and physical distancing are required. Patients will be observed on site for 15 minutes after receiving their COVID-19 vaccine. The most common side effects are injection site pain, soreness and swelling.
