FARGO, N.D. – Numerous Sanford Health Fargo residency programs have relocated to the Sanford Amber Valley Campus, 4840 23rd Ave. S., Fargo.
These residency clinics were previously located at the Sanford Broadway Clinic in downtown Fargo. All three residency clinics, including family medicine, internal medicine and behavioral health, are relocating to Sanford Amber Valley.
Residents are physicians who have finished medical school and are completing three additional years of training in the family medicine specialty. During this training, they care for patients in a clinic and hospital setting while consulting with experienced attending physicians to deliver the highest quality of patient care.
Residents learn how to empower people to live healthier lives through the use of team-based care and the most current evidence-based medicine. Residents can deliver all health care services, including:
• Wellness visit for children, teens and adults
• Care for chronic conditions, common illnesses and minor injuries
• Preventive health care
• Individual therapy
• Psychiatric medication management
The City of Fargo’s bus route 24 goes to Sanford Medical Center Fargo and now includes a stop at Sanford Amber Valley. The stop is located at the south side of the Sanford Amber Valley campus.
