RAPID CITY, S.D. — Sanford Health has finalized its combination with Rapid City, South Dakota-based Black Hills Plastic Surgery.
Black Hills Plastic Surgery is a comprehensive plastic surgery practice, which provides cosmetic and reconstructive plastic surgery, as well as non-surgical cosmetic treatments, to patients across the Black Hills. The practice will continue to be located at 3615 5th St., Suite 101, and nothing will change for patients at this time.
The practice’s two board-certified physicians, Robert J. Schutz, M.D., FACS and Mary C. Snyder, M.D., along with Bobbi Langbehn, PAC, and the six other team members currently employed by Black Hills Plastic Surgery are joining Sanford Health.
“We are excited to welcome the Black Hills Plastic Surgery team to our Sanford family. Their commitment to excellence aligns with our mission to care, comfort and cure,” said Kyle Wiese, president and CEO of Sanford Black Hills. “Through this partnership, patients will be more directly connected to Sanford Health’s full range of integrated health care, including specialty and subspecialty care.”
This partnership follows two major announcements from Sanford Health in the Black Hills region this year. In November, Denny Sanford provided a $300 million gift to help establish the Sanford Black Hills Medical Center campus in Rapid City and Creekside Medical Clinic joined the region in September. These developments reflect Sanford Health’s promise to expand comprehensive, world-class health care services to meet the local needs of patients in the Black Hills area.
