SIOUX FALLS, S.D. Kelsey McHugh, LPC, recently joined the Sanford Children’s team as an integrated health therapist at Sanford Children’s Clinic in Klamath Falls, OR.

As an integrated health therapist, Kelsey provides brief therapy and interventions for people experiencing anxiety, depression, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder as well as those who have experienced trauma. Patients are screened during routine well child and wellness exams to see if they would benefit from working with an integrated health therapist.

“Mental health is intertwined with our physical health,” said Kelsey McHugh. “I want to empower families and children with the tools they need to improve their mental and behavioral health.”

Kelsey received her master’s degree from Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, N.C. and enjoys reading, exercising and playing the piano in her spare time.

Sanford Children’s Clinic in Klamath Falls partners with Sky Lakes Medical Center to provide hospital and non-clinic services to patients. They are also the only facility in the region to offer pediatric endocrinology services.
