Blue Rock Bar and Grill coming to Sanford Sports Complex

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – Major renovations are almost complete at the primary restaurant on the Sanford Sports Complex including a new name, expanded space and fresh menu.

Will’s Training Table will officially become the Blue Rock Bar and Grill on March 1. The change coincides with a major expansion, menu enhancements and the hiring of an executive chef, Bradley Herr. Herr was recently the executive chef at Minerva’s in Sioux Falls.

During the last six months, Sanford Health has transformed Will’s Training Table into a unique dining destination with four tailored spaces, each offering a different atmosphere with a capacity of more than 450 people. Blue Rock Bar and Grill is a 12,000-square feet, two-story restaurant with a roof top patio and relaxing lower patio courtyard. Construction is scheduled to be completed by mid-February with the official reopening on March 1.

A 15-ton, seven-foot signature rock from Cambria will be featured in the landscape for Blue Rock Bar and Grill. Customers and visitors to the Sanford Sports Complex are encouraged to rub the rock for good luck on their way from the restaurant to the Sanford Pentagon.
