SIOUX FALLS, S.D. — Black Hills Plastic Surgery, a comprehensive plastic surgery practice in Rapid City, South Dakota, that provides cosmetic and reconstructive plastic surgery, as well as non-surgical cosmetic treatments, is joining Sanford Health as part of the Black Hills region.
The partnership is expected to be finalized by the end of the year.
Black Hills Plastic Surgery’s team includes two board-certified physicians, one advanced practice provider and six employees. It is anticipated that all staff members will be joining Sanford Health. The practice will continue to be located in its current location at 3615 5th Street, Suite 101. Nothing will change for patients at this time.
“We are excited to welcome the talented team at Black Hills Plastic Surgery to the Sanford Health family,” said Kyle Wiese, president and CEO, Sanford Black Hills. “This partnership reinforces Sanford Health’s ongoing commitment to expanding comprehensive, world-class health care services tailored to meet the needs of patients across the Black Hills region.”
Black Hills Plastic Surgery will be the latest independent physician group in western South Dakota to join Sanford Health following the completion of its combination with Creekside Medical Clinic in August. In November 2024, Black Hills Orthopedic and Spine Center (BHOSC), Black Hills Surgical Hospital (BHSH), Black Hills Urgent Care and Black Hills Surgery Center of Wyoming became a part of Sanford Health – with a goal of helping patients easily connect to Sanford Health’s full range of integrated health care, including specialty and subspecialty care, clinical trials, veterans precision medicine and more.
