Sanford Wahpeton Clinic to offer annual sports physicals

WAHPETON, ND. — Sanford Health is offering student athletes several options to receive their annual sports physicals this summer at Sanford Wahpeton Clinic, 332 Second Ave. N., on the following days:
• Friday, July 21 from 12 to 4 p.m.
• Tuesday, July 25 from 8 a.m. to noon
• Thursday, Aug. 3 from 8 a.m. to noon
• Monday, Aug. 7 from noon to 4 p.m.
• Friday, Aug. 11 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Athletes can make an appointment by calling (701) 642-7000. Sports physicals cost $50 and payment is due upon arrival. Please also bring your appropriate state sports physical form.

Student athletes are required to get an annual sports physical when participating in school-sanctioned sports. Athletes must have their physicals completed before the first day of practice for their sport.

Families may also request to schedule an appointment with their primary care provider for their young athlete’s annual sports physical.
