Jack Nicklaus to be part of Sanford International opening
SIOUX FALLS, S.D., Sept. 18, 2018 –- Record 18-time major champion Jack Nicklaus will arrive in Sioux Falls earlier than expected in order to take part in the opening ceremonies of the inaugural Sanford International Presented by Cambria at 10 a.m. on Friday.
Nicklaus will join two-time U.S. Open champion and Sanford International tournament host Andy North, as well as representatives from Sanford Health and Cambria on the first tee at Minnehaha Country Club.
Tournament-related events began Monday. The three tournament rounds will be played Friday through Sunday and feature a $1.8 million purse.
Tickets to the inaugural Sanford International Presented by Cambria are now on sale. Patrons may purchase tickets at all Hy-Vee locations, Austad’s Golf or by phone at 877-748-3376.
