BISMARCK, N.D., Mar. 12, 2021 — The Sanford Health Foundation in Bismarck is excited to announce the recent gift of $120,000 from Scheels in Bismarck to support Sanford POWER programs and services.

“This generous donation gives us the opportunity to grow, expand, and improve the training services and programs we offer the Bismarck community. It will help us continue to push our mission to provide the highest quality training in the region in a positive, high-energy environment with the best resources for an athlete to continue holistic growth and development,” says Chris Rivinius, Sanford POWER manager.

100% of the Scheels gift will help support local athletes by providing expanded programs and services at Sanford POWER.  Scheels joins a growing list of philanthropic partners, including the family of Ben Berg, Cit Air Mechanical, the McQuade Family and Dr. Michael and Michelle LeBeau.  Their support ensures that top-notch training is available to young athletes in our community.

“Athletic Development for the youth in our community is one of our top priorities. We are proud to be able to support the Bismarck-Mandan community in this way,” says Tyler Halm, Scheels Store Leader.

Sanford POWER features a 21,000-square foot facility and one-on-one, partner, small group and team training programs for athletes of all skill levels. Alongside our performance training, our POWER academies provide sport skill development opportunities for complete athlete development for recreational, high school, collegiate and professional individuals and teams.
