THIEF RIVER FALLS, Minn. – Sanford Health Thief River Falls was named to Becker’s Hospital Review’s 2026 337 Quietest Hospitals List.
The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) patient survey database listed hospital ratings based on the Hospital Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems survey. This is a national, standardized survey of hospital patients about their experience during a recent inpatient hospital stay. The survey was completed between October 2024 and September 2025. The five-star rating was based on how quiet patients aid their rooms were at night.
“We are honored to be recognized as one of the quietest hospitals in the country,” said Tyler Ust, Sanford Thief River Falls hospital administrator and CEO. “We take great pride in providing our patients with an environment that promotes healing and peace of mind. This distinction is made possible because of our entire staff, who work every day to provide an atmosphere of compassion and comfort and are dedicated to providing world class health care close to home.”
Sanford Thief River Falls Medical Center, a critical access hospital, provides 24/7 emergency care. The hospital plays a crucial role in delivering high-quality care, ensuring patient safety and maintaining financial stability for the greater Northwest Minnesota region.
