Sanford physician to share expertise on shoulder injuries

Mark Lundeen, M.D., orthopedics and sports medicine physician at Sanford Fargo, will be one of the featured presenters at the upcoming Interventional Orthobiologics Foundation (IOF) Max Experience.

The conference brings together the best minds in the interventional regenerative medicine industry and takes place in Denver, Colorado, Friday and Saturday. Attendees are physicians from all around the country across all specialties that use orthobiologics. There are 32 speakers at the conference with Lundeen being only one of two physicians to present on the shoulder at the two-day event.

Lundeen is the principal investigator on a rotator cuff study involving orthobiologics regenerative medicine. His presentation is titled, “Treatment of small and partial thickness tears of the rotator cuff with adipose derived stem cells.”

Lundeen serves on the Sanford Board of Trustees and is chairman of the department of orthopedics and sports medicine leadership group.
