Sanford Jackson reminding parents
to vaccinate eligible children with COVID-19 vaccine

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. — As COVID-19 continues to spread across the region, Sanford Jackson would like to remind parents to consider vaccinating their children 5 years old and older.

Sanford Jackson Clinic has ample supply of the vaccine for both adults and children.

Family medicine providers say with the new omicron variant they are seeing more children being infected with COVID-19 than they saw with previous strains of the virus. The vaccine is incredibly effective at preventing serious illness and hospitalization from COVID-19 in both adults and children. It’s the best tool we have against this virus and to protect our young children from getting ill with COVID.

COVID-19 vaccines are available to any eligible person 5 years old and older. First, second and booster doses of the COVID-19 vaccine are available at the Sanford Jackson Clinic.

To schedule an appointment for a COVID-19 vaccine, call the Sanford Jackson Clinic at (507) 847-2200.
