Sanford hosting drive-thru flu events in Bismarck

BISMARCK, N.D. (Sept. 27, 2022) – Sanford Health is hosting several drive-thru seasonal influenza (flu) vaccination events in the Bismarck-Mandan area. Patients will also have the option to receive a Pfizer bivalent COVID-19 booster vaccine.

Drive-through vaccine clinics will be held at Sanford East Century Ave Clinic, 1809 E. Century Ave., from 12 p.m. – 6 p.m. on the following dates:

For drive-through vaccine clinics, patients should stay in their vehicles, wear short-sleeved shirts and, if children in the vehicle will be vaccinated, dress children in a diaper or shorts. Vaccines will be administered through open vehicle windows or doors.

Appointments and face masks are recommended. Patients can schedule an appointment by going to My Sanford Chart or by calling your primary care provider. All ages are welcome during any of the clinic dates.

The Pfizer bivalent COVID-19 booster is recommended for individuals 12 years and older at least two months after their last dose in the COVID vaccine series.

The Sanford Bismarck region provides health care to central and western North Dakota, eastern Montana and northern South Dakota. It includes 21 clinics in Bismarck, Mandan, Minot, Dickinson and Watford City, as well as a Level II trauma center located in Bismarck.
