DICKINSON, N.D. — Sanford Health is hosting drive-up flu and COVID-19 vaccination clinics through October. Vaccination clinics will be offered at 938 Second Ave. W on the following dates:

To receive a flu and COVID-19 vaccine at Sanford Health East Dickinson Clinic, patients should call (701) 483-6017 Monday-Friday to schedule an appointment with their primary care provider.

Patients may also visit Sanford Health Dickinson Walk-in Clinic, located within Sanford Health West Dickinson Clinic, between 8 a.m.-8 p.m. Monday-Friday or 8 a.m.-2 p.m. on weekends to receive a flu vaccine. The COVID-19 vaccine is not available within the walk-in clinic at this time.

Face masks are required and patients who receive a COVID-19 vaccine will be observed onsite for 15 minutes after receiving a vaccine. All Sanford employees will be wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) while interacting with patients and administering flu vaccines. The most common side effects are injection site pain, soreness and swelling.

The Pfizer vaccine has been approved by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices and the Food and Drug Administration to be administered to patients 12 years old and older. The Johnson and Johnson vaccine has been approved for those 18 years old and older.
