PARK RAPIDS, Minn. – The Sanford Health Park Rapids Eye Center & Optical will open in July, with a celebration planned for Wednesday, July 22, at its existing clinic at 110 Seventh St. W, in Park Rapids.
Located on the first floor of the Sanford Health Park Rapids Clinic, the new 2,500-square-foot center will offer a full range of optometry and ophthalmology services, along with an on-site retail optical shop.
A grand opening celebration is set for 4 to 6 p.m. on Wednesday, July 22, at the clinic. The community is invited to attend a brief program, tour the new space and enjoy live music with Joyful Scoops ice cream and Molly Poppin’s popcorn.
The program will include a ribbon cutting with the Park Rapids Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce and a welcome from Dr. Jacob Grund, a full-time optometrist, who will be dedicated to the Park Rapids Eye Center & Optical. A Grand Opening Optical Sale will also run from July 13-31 offering 30% off a complete pair of eyewear.
As part of the expansion, Dr. Grund will provide routine eye exams, family vision care, contact lens fittings and the diagnosis and management of eye conditions. Ophthalmologists Ashley Lundin, MD, and Andrew Jordan, MD, will continue to provide outreach services in Park Rapids, including consultations for sutureless cataract surgery, premium lens implants and retinal injections. The clinic will also offer walk-in and urgent eye care services.

Patients will be able to receive routine vision care, specialty eye services and optical support closer to home.”
