Sanford Health Fargo opens I-94 Dialysis Clinic

FARGO, N.D. – Sanford Health Fargo announces the opening of the I-94 Dialysis Clinic that offers outpatient hemodialysis at Sanford Medical Center Fargo.
Historically, Sanford Health has offered outpatient pediatric dialysis services to patients ages 16-years and older, and now with the opening of the I-94 Dialysis Clinic, they are able to offer the service to pediatric patients of all ages. Dialysis is a blood-filtering treatment that takes over the role of the kidneys for those awaiting transplants, and often requires three to four weekly trips to the clinic for three to four hours at a time.
This clinic will provide leading pediatric kidney care for young patients suffering from chronic or acute kidney failure under the care of pediatric nephrologist Dr. Batoule Majed.

This milestone makes Sanford Health Fargo the first and only full spectrum pediatric dialysis service provider in the state of North Dakota and communities in northern Minnesota.
