In addition to having flu vaccinations readily available at all Sanford Fargo primary care clinics, Sanford Fargo is also hosting flu vaccine events at Sanford Amber Valley Campus, 4837 23rd Ave. S., Fargo. Use door 4837 on the west side of campus. Appointments are encouraged, but walk-ins are welcome. The flu vaccination events take place on the following dates:
• Saturday, Oct. 10, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
• Thursday, Oct. 22, from 5 to 7:30 p.m.
Please visit mysanfordchart.org to schedule your vaccine or call 701-234-8830 to make an appointment.
Adults should wear a shirt with sleeves that can easily be rolled up and bring an insurance card as most insurances are accepted.
A flu vaccine can protect the public from getting sick and protect the people around them. The American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) and American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP) recommend annual flu vaccines for everyone 6 months and older, especially those at higher risk of complications including pregnant women, older adults and young children.
Visit Sanfordhealth.org to learn more about the safety and effectiveness of vaccines and get answers to commonly asked questions.
