FARGO, N.D., Dec. 10, 2021 – Sanford Health has completed an expansion to the Sanford Veterans Square Clinic in Fargo, which will become the new home for pediatric specialty care.

The $3.6 million expansion added 30 new exam rooms, two consult rooms and more than doubles the size of the clinic, increasing the square footage total from 5,957 square feet to 16,051 square feet. “Being able to expand our pediatric specialty care services to a neighborhood clinic that is easy to access from both interstates will be extremely beneficial for our patients who come for these services locally and also from long distances,” said Dr. Justin Horner, Sanford Health pediatric cardiologist and department chair of pediatric specialties. “Families will now be able to combine their primary and specialty care needs and keep their appointments to one location.”

The Sanford Veterans Square Clinic, which opened in June 2019, is located on the corner of 40th St. and Veterans Boulevard in Fargo. After the expansion, the clinic has 47 total exam rooms, a procedure room and an x-ray room. In addition, the clinic offers same-day appointments.

Pediatric cardiology, gastroenterology and pulmonology will remain at Sanford Broadway Children’s Clinic.
