SIOUX FALLS, S.D. — Mathew Davis, LPC, recently joined Sanford Chamberlain Clinic as an integrated health counselor and licensed professional counselor-supervisee who works with patients navigating behavioral health concerns and life transitions.
Davis is experienced in dialectical behavior therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy and trauma-informed care. He has extensive training in helping individuals who experience intense emotions, difficulty with distress tolerance or patterns that impact relationships and daily functioning.
Davis provides counseling for patients experiencing:
- Anxiety
- Emotional regulation issues
- Stress
- Trauma-related disorders
He focuses on helping clients build practical skills in emotional regulation, mindfulness, interpersonal effectiveness and coping with distress.
Davis received his master’s degree at Chadron State College in Chadron, Neb.
