SIOUX FALLS, S.D., March 18, 2021 — Sanford Health broke ground today on a new 16,000 square foot clinic in Harrisburg, South Dakota. The Sanford Harrisburg Clinic will be located on the northwest corner of Cliff Avenue and Willow Street and will have a Lewis Drug retail store and pharmacy attached to it.

“Good things are happening in Harrisburg,” said Andy Munce, vice president of operations at Sanford Health in Sioux Falls. “This community has seen substantial growth for the past several years and we want to continue providing convenient care for the communities we serve. This clinic will provide primary care services to meet the needs of this growing community.”

The Sanford Harrisburg Clinic will feature 26 clinical exam rooms, housing family medicine, pediatrics and women’s services. There will also be a lab, radiology, ultrasound and 3D mammography services located inside the clinic.

Construction on the new clinic will be in full swing this summer, with an anticipated opening date sometime in late 2022.
