SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – Sanford Health broke ground on a new clinic at the corner of 57th St. and Veterans Parkway in southeast Sioux Falls.

Sanford 57th & Veterans Parkway Clinic will feature acute care, family medicine, pediatrics and obstetrics and gynecology services to meet the needs of patients in Sioux Falls and surrounding communities.

Plans for the nearly 30,000-square-foot clinic include 34 exam rooms, five treatment rooms, radiology, therapy and walk-in lab services. In addition to clinic services, Lewis Drug will be attached to the facility, which will feature a Sanford Health Equip location inside.

“As the southeast corner of Sioux Falls continues to expand, so does the need for our clinic services to meet patient needs close to home in this growing area of our community,” said Andy Munce, president and CEO at Sanford Health in Sioux Falls. “Integrating Lewis Drug into our clinic model has greatly enhanced the ease of access for patients to pick up their prescriptions following their appointments at the clinic.”

In addition to serving patients in the community, the clinic will be directly connected to Good Samaritan – Founder’s Crossing, giving residents of the campus easy access to healthcare, prescription drug services and home medical equipment.

Construction on the new clinic began this month, and the facility will open to patients in August 2028.
