Sanford Bemidji named top orthopedic program

BEMIDJI, Minn. – Sanford Bemidji Orthopedics and Sports Medicine Center has been named to Becker’s Hospital Review’s list of “100 hospitals and health systems with great orthopedic programs” for 2024, highlighting its excellence in delivering advanced, patient-centered care for musculoskeletal conditions.

As a regional leader in orthopedic and sports medicine care, the center offers a wide range of services, including orthopedic surgery, hyperbaric oxygen therapy, chiropractic, podiatry, pain management, occupational therapy, physical medicine and rehabilitation and physical therapy services. Its multidisciplinary team is committed to enhancing access to high-quality care in rural communities. Recently, the center earned The Joint Commission certificate for its hip and knee replacement programs, further demonstrating its dedication to excellence.

“This recognition reflects the dedication and expertise of our orthopedics team,” said Brad Neis, vice president of operations for Sanford Health Bemidji, overseeing orthopedics and sports medicine in the region. “From earning The Joint Commission certification to now being recognized by Becker’s, these achievements highlight the exceptional work our team has done to deliver high-quality, innovative care to our patients.”
