Sanford Bemidji to host cardiology Doc Talk on Feb. 24

BEMIDJI, Minn. – Sanford Health will host a Doc Talk, “Subtle Warning Signs from the Heart,” from 3:30 to 5 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 24, at the Sanford Center, 1111 Event Center Dr. NE, in Bemidji. Attendees should use the convention center entrance near the hotel.

Heart events can occur at a moment’s notice, and the heart may be trying to warn you before it happens. Join Dr. James Dewar, DO, interventional cardiologist at the Sanford Bemidji Heart & Vascular Center, for a discussion about the latest technology that’s used to prevent, detect and treat heart attacks and other cardiac emergencies.

Refreshments will be available at 3:30 p.m. and the one-hour presentation will begin at 4 p.m. and include time for questions. The event is free to attend, but registration is required.
