Sanford Ambulance to hold citizen’s academy

FARGO, N.D. – Sanford Ambulance is accepting applications for an eight-week citizen’s academy where participants will learn about emergency medical services, learn lifesaving skills they will be able to use in the event of an emergency and have an opportunity to ride along with paramedics and EMTs on emergency calls.

The academy will be held Thursday evenings from 7 to 10 p.m. from March 3rd through April 21st at Sanford Ambulance, 2218 18th St. S. Applicants are encouraged to apply before Feb. 27th, and registration will close once the class reaches capacity. Community members 18-years-old and older are welcome to apply online at www.sanfordhealthemseducation.org/citizensacademy.
