Sanford Aberdeen welcomes new family medicine providers

ABERDEEN, S.D. – Sanford Aberdeen recently welcomed two new family medicine providers to its primary care team:

Lindsay Habeck, APRN, CNP, received her bachelor’s degree in nursing from Presentation College and her master’s degree in nursing from Morningside University in Sioux City, Iowa. Habeck is a familiar face at Sanford Aberdeen and has worked the past five years as a bedside RN and coordinator in the medical center. She is an Aberdeen native.

Whitney Sombke, APRN, CNP, received her bachelor’s degree in nursing from Presentation College and her master’s degree in nursing from the University of Cincinnati in Cincinnati, Ohio. A Groton native, Sombke also began her nursing career in a local medical center.

Habeck and Sombke will provide primary care for patients of all ages, including annual exams, immunizations and preventive screenings, management of chronic conditions and urgent care for illnesses.

“It is always exciting to welcome new providers to our clinic,” said Ashley Erickson, Executive Director at Sanford Aberdeen. “It’s especially exciting to welcome Lindsay and Whitney, who both have roots in our community and deep ties to the area. They are committed to providing excellent care for our patients.”
