FARGO, N.D. – The second annual Roger Maris Gala returns on Wednesday, June 18, at 6 p.m. at the Pines, 4487 165th Ave., S.E., Davenport, N.D. 100% of funds raised stay local to support the Sanford Roger Maris Cancer Center.
The Roger Maris Gala is an event to honor the past and celebrate the future of the Sanford Roger Maris Cancer Center. Attendees will hear local stories of hope and healing and will be invited to support the future of the Roger Maris Cancer Center. Funds raised during the gala will help give patients and their loved ones a home away from home during treatment and through their outpatient care and monitoring through the Peltier Lodge, Sanford Fargo’s new center for patient lodging.
The cost of a full table is $2,000 and includes a plated dinner, drinks and an evening program. The cost for an individual ticket is $250 and also includes a plated dinner, drinks and evening program.
Roger Maris All-Star Week was created to support the work happening at the cancer center, honor loved ones, friends and neighbors affected by cancer, promote Roger’s passion for fitness and youth sports and celebrate the enduring legacy of hometown hero, Roger Maris.
