Professional golfer Kim Kaufman to hold event in Sioux Falls

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – Clark, South Dakota native and professional golfer Kim Kaufman will host a ‘Mother-Daughter Huddle’ on Monday, Aug. 10 from 1-2:45 p.m. at Great Shots in Sioux Falls. The event will feature an engaging Q&A session, live demonstrations and more.

Registration is open to mothers and daughters of all ages and costs $20 total. All proceeds go towards the Sanford Sports Scholarship Fund to support youth sports. Participants can register here. Space is limited.

Kaufman was diagnosed with breast cancer in December 2024 and returned to the Epson Tour in late 2025 after undergoing chemotherapy and radiation treatments. A fierce advocate for women’s health, Kaufman helped organize breast cancer screenings for the field at the Hartford HealthCare Women’s Championship during her battle.

One of the most decorated South Dakota high school athletes of all-time, Kaufman won four state championships at Clark High School. She then attended Texas Tech University, where she was ranked the #1 golfer in the country in the fall of 2012.
