New Same Day Surgery Center to open in downtown Bismarck

BISMARCK, N.D. (Nov. 4, 2021)— Sanford Health is opening a new Same Day Surgery Center in downtown Bismarck on Nov. 9, 2021.

The Sanford Broadway Same Day Surgery Center will provide a state-of-the-art space for adult and pediatric patients to receive surgical care and return home the same day.

“We are excited to open a surgery center in the heart of downtown Bismarck that will meet the surgical needs of our community,” said Jacqueline Farland, executive director of surgical services. “The new surgery center will provide additional access to same-day surgical care to our community and increase convenience for our patients.”

Located at 715 E. Broadway Ave., the Sanford Broadway Same Day Surgery Center is over 22,000 square feet and includes 18 preoperative and recovery care rooms and six surgical suites, offering patients’ total surgical care under one roof.

The following specialties will be offered as same day surgical services:

The existing Surgical Services department within the Seventh & Rosser Clinic in Bismarck will continue being used for inpatient and outpatient surgeries once the new surgery center is open for patients.

The Sanford Bismarck region provides health care to central and western North Dakota, eastern Montana and northern South Dakota. It includes 21 clinics in Bismarck, Mandan, Minot, Dickinson and Watford City, as well as a Level II trauma center located in Bismarck.
