Matchups set for Sanford Pentagon Border Battle

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – Matchups have been set for a battle of the Dakotas taking place at the Sanford Pentagon Jan. 6, 2024, featuring three girls and boys teams from North Dakota and three girls and boys teams from South Dakota.

The Sanford Pentagon Border Battle features defending North Dakota Class A girls state champion, Grand Forks Red River along with fellow Class A state tournament qualifier Minot. On the boys side, North Dakota Class A runner-up Grand Forks Red River will compete along with state qualifier Minot as well as South Dakota Class A state qualifier St. Thomas More.

Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for students in grades K-12 and children 4-and-under are free. Tickets are cash only and can be purchased when doors open at 10:30 a.m.

5:30 p.m. – Florence/Henry vs. West Fargo Horace (Boys)
