Jerry Kelly commits to 2023 Sanford International

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – Jerry Kelly, a two-time major winner on the PGA TOUR Champions, has officially committed to competing in the Sanford International on Sept. 11-17 at Minnehaha Country Club in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Kelly joins fellow PGA TOUR Champions golfers Ken Duke and Paul Broadhurst, who also committed to playing in the tournament.
Kelly is having another outstanding season on the PGA TOUR Champions and is currently ranked tenth in the Charles Schwab Cup standings thanks to five top-five finishes. The Madison, Wisconsin, native has three career wins on the PGA TOUR and eleven career victories on the PGA TOUR Champions. Kelly has been a consistent contender at the Sanford International with his best finish a T6 in 2021.
Duke, the runner-up of the 2019 Sanford International, returns to Sioux Falls for his fifth appearance at the tournament. The Arkansas native has six top-25 finishes on the season. Still searching for his first win on the PGA TOUR Champions, Duke’s biggest victory on the PGA TOUR came at the 2013 Travelers Championship.
Broadhurst, who hails from Atherstone, England, is a five-time winner on the PGA TOUR Champions, with two majors on his resume. This season, he has 12 top-25 finishes including three top-10 results. Currently ranked 17th in the Schwab Cup standings, Broadhurst’s best finish at the Sanford International was a T7 in 2019.
