BISMARCK, N.D – Sanford Health’s pediatric walk-in clinic in Bismarck, located at Sanford Children’s Campus at 765 W. Interstate Ave., will no longer offer walk-in services after June 27, 2025. The Sanford Children’s Campus will continue to care for children by appointment for primary pediatric care, pediatric specialty services and children’s therapies.
“We are incredibly proud to have served local families through our pediatric walk-in clinic and will continue serving the communities pediatric needs through scheduled appointments and other Sanford walk-in clinic locations,” said Jada Holznagel, vice president of operations for children’s services at Sanford Bismarck. “This decision was made after careful consideration and will allow pediatricians to have more availability for scheduled appointments. Our goal has always been to provide high-quality, accessible care for children and we’re grateful for the trust families have placed in us.”
Sanford encourages families who do not yet have a pediatrician or primary care provider for their child to establish one as soon as possible. Primary care providers offer consistent, comprehensive care that is vital to a child’s growth and development. A trusted primary care provider ensures children receive routine checkups, immunizations and timely care when needed.
Families can call or use online scheduling with their established primary care provider to schedule an appointment. For urgent medical needs that cannot wait for a same or next day scheduled appointment, families are advised to use alternative Sanford walk-in clinics. A list of nearby options is available at SanfordHealth.org.
Patients and families with questions about the closure or needing help finding a provider are encouraged to call 701-323-5437 or visit the website.
The Sanford Bismarck region provides health care to central and western North Dakota, eastern Montana and northern South Dakota. It includes 26 clinics in Bismarck, Mandan, Minot, Dickinson, Williston and Watford City, as well as a Level II trauma center located in Bismarck.
