NEW HOPE, MN — The American Health Care Association and National Center for Assisted Living (AHCA/NCAL) announced that  Good Samaritan Society-Ambassador is a recipient of the 2022 Silver – Achievement in Quality Award.

The Silver Award is the second of three distinctions possible through the AHCA/NCAL National Quality Award Program, which recognizes long-term care providers across the nation that have demonstrated improved quality outcomes for staff, residents and individuals with disabilities in long term and post-acute care. Each application is reviewed and judged against a set of nationally recognized standards for achieving excellence.

“I could not be more proud of the incredible staff and servant leaders at Ambassador. As caregivers, we have a responsibility to protect the most vulnerable,” said Dr. Gregory Johnson, Good Samaritan Society chief medical officer. “This award is a testament to their hard work and dedication to residents in New Hope. They go above and beyond every day to make sure our residents are safe, happy and healthy.”

Good Samaritan Society – Ambassador is one of 46 long-term care providers in the nation to achieve the 2022 Silver Award.

“I am deeply humbled to receive this award and beyond proud of the Ambassador team,” said Anna Minske, administrator of Good Samaritan Society – Ambassador. “Working in long-term care is such a rewarding career. The sense of calling and the family-like connection to residents makes our culture so unique. We consider each other family at Ambassador which translates into exceptional care for our residents.”
