FARGO, N.D. – For the second year in a row, Sanford Roger Maris Cancer Center has been named one of the top cancer centers in the United States by Becker’s Hospital Review.

Roger Maris Cancer Center was named to Becker’s Hospital Review’s “Top 100 Hospitals and Health Systems with Great Oncology Programs.” All nominated cancer centers have garnered national acclaim for advancing cancer care with cutting-edge clinical trials and life-changing research.

“We are proud and honored for the second consecutive year to be recognized as one of the top cancer centers in the country,” said Tiffany Lawrence, Sanford Health Fargo president and CEO. “In times of need, Roger Maris Cancer Center is the region’s go-to place for cancer care. This honor illustrates the hard work and dedication our staff provides to the communities we serve. We are privileged to have a national destination for high-quality cancer care close to home.”

The Roger Maris Cancer Center serves about 600 patients daily and provides world-class chemotherapy services in locations across North Dakota and Minnesota. Some of its latest advancements in cancer care includes partnering with Perham Health to open a chemotherapy infusion center, which features seven infusion chairs. In 2021, Sanford Fargo launched the upper Midwest’s first blood and bone marrow transplant program. Later this year, Sanford is expanding its infusion services by opening a new site at Sanford Thief River Falls (Minn.).
