Nick Olson, executive vice president and chief financial officer at Sanford Health, will join national health care leaders to discuss key issues affecting the health care industry at Modern Healthcare’s 2030 Playbook Conference April 2 in Nashville.
Olson will join a panel moderated by Caroline Hudson, finance reporter at Modern Healthcare, entitled, “Reimbursement Realities: Navigating the Future of Health Care Payments.” Other panelists include Carrie Kincaid, senior vice president of government and consumer markets and market development at Priority Health, and Citseko Staples Miller, managing director at FTI Consulting.

The panel discussion will explore how providers and payers are navigating an evolving landscape with changes to payment models. The panel will also share insights on strategies and opportunities to ensure sustainable growth and improved patient outcomes, including the role of AI in shaping the future of health care delivery.
“The challenges facing the health care sector, especially in rural areas, require us to think differently about what we do today to meet the needs of our communities tomorrow,” Olson said. “I look forward to joining Modern Healthcare for this important conversation and sharing more about how Sanford Health is advancing access, quality and sustainability in America’s heartland.”
Other speakers at the conference include Dr. Vin Gupta, who most recently served as the medical chief of Amazon Pharmacy, Providence president and CEO Erik Wexler, Henry Ford Health president and CEO Robert Riney, GE HealthCare chief strategy officer Brian Montgomery, and Morgan Health CEO Dan Mendelson.
