PARK RAPIDS, Minn. – Sanford Dermatology will host a free skin cancer screening on Thursday, May 14, at the Sanford Health Park Rapids Clinic, located at 110 7th St. West.

The event will also introduce Hannah Hoven, APRN, CNP, a dermatology provider based in Bemidji. Hoven will begin offering outreach dermatology services at the Park Rapids Clinic on the second Thursday of each month, expanding access to specialty care for patients in the area.

The free screening will focus on areas commonly exposed to the sun during winter months, including the head, face, ears, neck and arms. Screenings will take approximately 15 minutes, and patients will remain fully clothed during the exam.

Appointments are required, and the event is open to new Sanford dermatology patients only.

Patients attending the screening should enter through the east side of the building (across from Highway 71) and proceed to the second floor of the clinic.

To schedule an appointment for the free screening or to book with Hoven during her monthly outreach visits, call Sanford Dermatology at (218) 333-5310.
