Safety Safari at Red River Zoo set for May 18

FARGO, N.D. – Sanford Children’s, Safe Kids Fargo-Moorhead and AAA will host its annual Safety Safari from 2 to 6 p.m. on Saturday, May 18, at the Red River Zoo, 4255 23rd Ave. S, Fargo. The free event aims to help educate children and their parents about the importance of safety.
The event features animal presentations, a vehicle rollover simulator and activities and games focused on safety lessons. A limited number of bike helmets and life jackets will be available for purchase at this event and comes with a free fitting. Event goers will also meet local police, fire and ambulance personnel.
Event sponsors include AAA North Dakota, Red River Zoo, Safe Kids F-M, Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals and Sanford Children’s.
