Sanford Medical Center Vermillion welcomed its first baby of 2018.
Paul Lucas was born on Jan. 1, 2018 at 7:02 a.m. to Nicholas and Jacki Waldner of Elk Point, South Dakota. Paul weighs eight pounds, eight ounces and is 21 ½ inches long.
Proud parents, Nicholas and Jacki and big brother Benjamin were very excited to learn that Paul was the first baby of the New Year born at Sanford Vermillion.
Paul and his family were presented with a welcome bag from Sanford Vermillion as well as a variety of wonderful first baby of the year gifts donated by many Vermillion businesses.
