Sanford Women’s offers patients comprehensive wellness education throughout a woman’s life. This includes a midlife session where women can learn more about perimenopause and menopause.
“It’s an opportunity for us to share information to women as they’re going through some changes to their world,” said Diana Puttmann, a certified nurse practitioner for Sanford Women’s. “We also want to share the psycho-social issues as well. We want to treat a woman and a whole being.”
Topics include genetics, bladder health, sexual health and menopause.
“We want women to stay health and live a prosperous, healthy and happy life,” said Puttmann.
You can learn more about women’s health and midlife sessions in this podcast edition of “A Better You,” which airs Saturday on KSOO-AM.
Sanford Health is one of the largest health care systems in the nation, with 44 hospitals and nearly 300 clinics in nine states and four countries.
